Abstract
This paper expounds the connotation of "piloting socialist market economy" and analyzes how to pilot socialist market economy according to the right recognition in four aspects, namely, ownership system, economic movement, income distribution and opening up. It holds that as the governing party, the Communist Party of China should raise the own ability of piloting socialist market economy.
