Abstract

The paper first discribe the representative form of neoliberalism in the view of hitory. In late 1960s,the crisis of capital accumulation resulted
of Keynesianism. Hence bourgeoisie tried to restore class ruling by neo-liberal reformation. This meant reconstructing the government in a neo-liberal way, confronting trade union power, attacking all forms of social solidarity (such as those expressed through municipai governance) that hindered competitive flexibility (including the power of many professionals and their associations) , dismantling or rolling back the commitments of the welfare state, the privatization of public enterprises, and creating a favorable business climate to promote international trade and induce a strong inflow of foreign investment. The neoliberalism reflected the buildup of class power by the ruling elites to fight off the resist of workers and society. As a reslut, it succeeded in restoring class power to ruling elites, although its actual record in stimulating economic growth is nothing short of dismal. In those years, the capital accumulation were more characterised with dispossession. In other words, the main achievemeets of neo-liberalism have been redistributive rather than generative.

There are many interior conflicts in neoliberalism, such as the conflicts between individual liberty and the tendency of autarchy, and the conflicts between alluring verbalism. Therefore, neoliberalism has spawned within itself an extensive oppositional culture. As a mainsteam response to these conflicts,neo-conservatism appears as a mere stripping away of
the veil of authoritarianism in which neo-liberalism sought to envelope itself. In the end,the paper analyzes the alternatives to respond the conflicts and point out the jumble and universality of the fight against neoliberalism. But in general, class fight is the key,and request for liberty is the core.
